Privacy

Last updated 3 August 2026. This describes what actually happens in the code, not what a template says.

What we don't do

No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising cookies. No third-party scripts profiling you. You can browse the entire catalog without an account, and we don't know who you are unless you tell us. This isn't a privacy posture we adopted for a policy page — it's the same reason nobody here contacts you first.

What we collect, and only when you send it

Forms. If you apply as a power user, reserve a listing, or book a session, we receive what you typed: your name, email, and the context you gave (product details, the tools you use, or what you're deciding). It is emailed to the founder and stored in our email provider. During this early phase, the founder's inbox is the database — deliberately, and we'd rather say so than imply infrastructure we don't have.

Payments. Card details never reach our servers. Stripe processes the payment and we receive confirmation, your email, and the session context you entered.

The research assistant. Questions you type at /research are sent to Anthropic's API to generate an answer. Nothing is saved after you leave the page, and no account is involved.

Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, page) for security and debugging, for a limited period.

Cookies

One, and only for us: an operator login cookie that gates the founder's admin pages. If you are not an operator, this site sets no cookies. That is why you have never seen a cookie banner here.

Who processes your data

  • Vercel — hosting and server logs
  • Resend — sending email and holding contact lists
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic — generating research-assistant answers
  • Namecheap — forwarding mail sent to our addresses

These are US-based providers, so data may be processed in the United States. Flowrish AI, Inc., a Texas corporation, is the controller — see our legal notice.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email founder@distro.market and a human — not a ticketing system — will handle it. Deletion means deletion, including from our mailing lists.
